Do you want to try out a fun and energetic style of dance?
Sorry, everything is on hold until we get on top of this virus.
We used to meet here:
Monday Evenings 7.30 – 9.30 pm
Ash Village Hall TN15 7HB
We perform a style of percussive dance from the Appalachian Mountains in the South-Eastern United States. It is related to many other dance styles such as Irish stepping, English clog dancing and modern tap dance. We are lucky enough to dance to a live band that plays traditional old time tunes (think: O Brother Where Art Thou?). You may have seen us dancing at festivals in Rochester, Faversham, Tenterden etc.
We practise every Monday evening in Ash Village Hall, Ash-cum-Ridley TN15 7HB
We are always looking for more dancers. Phone Ann on 01634 405840 to let us know if you intend to come along.
What do you need? Energy and a pair of tap or hard soled shoes. Come along and give it a try.
